    New Year's Eve Party

    Hotel-wide Blowout!

Logo 2This is the biggest party in Topeka for New Year’s Eve. Over the course of the last four years we have been building this party into something that is bigger than just our one hotel. We have begun to use a second hotel to accommodate everyone! This year will be no different. We have nurtured this party out of the Blues and, starting this year, have worked in additional entertainment in the realm of Rock and Country. We have dedicated a room to both and hope that you can make it down to show your support for one or the other or just live entertainment in Topeka. We go all out for this event as every department of the Ramada is on hand. Here’s the basic breakdown.

Starting at 3:00 p.m. guests of the hotel can start checking in and settling into their rooms. During check in we will have Eden Brent playing in the atrium. Eden is a wonderful pianist and more can be found here. While you are being played into the party we will have a second surprise to greet you as well. After all the pregame festivities, that include drinks and socializing,  the real party starts with a dinner buffet prepared by Chef Mark Stephens. The full menu can be found here and includes some of his most savory dishes. During dinner enjoy guitarist and Delta Blues musician Patrick Nichols.

After dinner the break out music begins. In Uncle Bo’s the classic sounds of Cate Brothers will once again return drawing crowds from all over. In the Grand Ballroom, country music takes over with David Oakleaf opening for 6 Degrees West. Both are relatively local boys that have made something of themselves. Finally in the Regency, we’ve given the green light to rock the house down with Nucklehead Jones and Anthony Gomes.

Just before the New Year gets rang in all three rooms converge into the atrium for a final, big blow out party that celebrates the last minutes of 2014 as well as the first minutes of 2015. Complete with countdown, champagne toast, jam session and “ball-drop”.

Once you’re finished partying and dancing our late night breakfast begins. Again prepared under Chef Marks care and serving up all the favorite breakfast dishes. Bacon makes anything better and our party is no exception.

After breakfast sleep it off in your room and enjoy a late brunch buffet the next morning. Cure your ailments with a little “hair of the dog”, a Bloody Mary bar and bar will be open for you to enjoy and don’t worry about waking up to early cause we’ve pushed back check out to 1:00 p.m..

Well that’s our event in a nutshell. We hope you can make it out and that you can take advantage of any one of our numerous packages that allow you to customize the party to fit whoever you want to come with or however you like to party.
